I’m pretty new to my obsession of Rafael, and he’s so talented, but I have to ask… what’s #DearAnnie? Is this a person or a figment of his imagination? I don’t know 😂

Ha, tbh I’m not entirely sure myself lol

My take is that Annie is some sort of personification of his muse?

He has used it mainly as a hashtag for his poems that he sometimes posts on instagram but also with some songs like Bad Egg. So I assumed it’s a representation of all the women he’s loved? (Or at least the title of the poetry book he promised us and I’m still waiting for…)

He’s also been using it when talking about the play, The Limp, that he has been developing for some years
(you might have seen some of the pretty singing videos he posted on instagram).

I think the success of Blindspotting might have put that on hold for a little but I’m hoping we get some news on that soon.

I want to take this moment to give a shout out to @intoxicatingimmediacy though. She has been absolutely amazing about posting the Blindspotting reviews and other things related to the movie. I couldn’t keep up with it all without her help!

I was gonna do a psa for the people that are still confused about what colour rafas eyes are and it was gonna be like “theyre green, not hazel, and they change to brown sometimes, just like mine” and then i decided to do some research and found out that, not only are his eyes hazel (theyre like a mix of brown and green and that makes them look like they change), but so are mine and ive been living a lie for 22 years. So yeah his eyes are hazel if anyone was wondering 😂😂 sorry yeah ok bye

So blindspotting didnt win anything…but honestly im not even mad or disappointed or sad bc these past 10 days have been insane and theyve all made me so proud and the movie got bought bY LIONSGATE WHICH IS INCREDIBLE and i can see it doing great all throughout the states and hopefully outside of the states (🙏🙏🙏🤞🤞) and im just excited to see what this year has in store for the movie and for rafa and daveed and 2018 has already started off great
